Flair

Have you ever been in the situation when you are far from the person you love? Be it a friends, a family member or even a partner. Flair can erase the distance between you and the loved one! Hugs as an expression of compassion and emotional support are crucial aspect of interpersonal interaction. One of the most important findings indicates that hugs have a 'stress-buffering effect'. On this basis Flair was developed to bridge the expanse between people. It is an outwear that sends hugs through a smartphone. Flair is made with inflatable actuators that recreates the sense of touch. They induce emotions which we get through and send them to people who are far away from us. Flair connects via bluetooth and transmits the message to the actuators, thus embracing the wearer.
